VNGRD Octopus OG
The cult brand returns with its original tentacular designs
In 2005, a group of designers and artists who grew up nested in the heart of Milan's underground movement founded VNGRD. With the naïve approach of the self-thaught, refusing to obey traditional commercial rules, VNGRD questioned everything and immediately acquired cult status, accumulating collaborations with brands such as Stüssy, SUPER, FUCT and Slam Jam. Most importantly, it sowed the seeds that would spawn the Octopus brand: in fact, the tentacle motif was born as a graphic for VNGRD, designed by co-founder Giorgio Di Salvo in 2006.
Today VNGRD -after the celebratory drop in 2021- returns with a new limited edition of Octopus OG garments, faithful to the first 2006 release down to the tiniest detail and made with high-quality materials and screen-printing techniques. The colorways are exactly the same as the original ones produced by VNGRD 17 years ago.
The VNGRD Octopus OG collection consists of a hoodie in Black/Melange, Black/Purple, Black/White and Grey/Black iterations, and a T-shirt in Grey/Black, Purple/White and Purple/Black variants.
