Octopus knows that white Mana is produced from the plains; red Mana, from the mountains; black Mana, from the swamps. Octopus knows that black, red and white are the Mardu colors, the same colors that shape the first Octopus X Magic: The Gathering collection.
Octopus' homage to the fantasy multiverse of the world's most famous card game features 11 garments made in collaboration with Wizards of the Coast, all designed and produced in Italy by Octopus. The all-new tentacular graphics and special processed clothing contain direct references to creatures, spells, sorceries and artifacts – from Magic lovers, for Magic lovers.
The garments in the Octopus X Magic: The Gathering collection feature a special PVC logo reminiscent of the star found on Foil cards from early editions. The collection is divided by color: the white of knights, the black of bats, and the red of ogres. The exception is the Long Sleeve Deckmaster T-shirt, which collects some of the most beloved cards of the last decade: it's not the perfect Grimoire, of course, but it contains Planeswalkers such as Chandra Nalaar, Ajani Goldenhair and Liliana Vess, creatures such as Sheholdred and ultimate sorceries such as Wrath of God. Rounding up the collection are 5 special limited edition playmats dedicated to the 5 Mana, fundamental forces of Magic: The Gathering.
The Octopus X Magic: The Gathering collection will be available 22th November at Milan Games Week, PAV9 STAND 07.
