Dungeons & Dragons x Octopus Chapter I
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the RPG with a limited release
“Dark green tiles cover the floor and ceiling of this room, forming an incomplete mosaic that depicts Sahuagin warriors defending an underwater city from a tentacled monster.”
A story. A map. Monsters and spells.
Fifty years after its invention by Gary Gigax and Dave Arneson, Octopus celebrates Dungeons & Dragons, the world’s best-known and most loved role playing game. A subculture made up of druids, barbarians, elves and humans. Of hideous creatures, magical items, dice and miniatures.
The limited Octopus x Dungeons & Dragons release consists of two packs of T-shirts and hoodies, for a total of eight items: on one side, a fantasy map printed on a special dyed fabric that mimics an ancient scroll; on the other, a completely new version of the tentacular graphic, with a quote from Ghosts of Saltmarsh (an adventure from the fifth edition of D&D) juxtaposed with the iconic image of the Lich King, legendary undead creature.
The collection will be available from April 25 only at Napoli Comicon, at the Octopus x Dungeons & Dragons booth. The ’Map Marble’ hoodie and T-Shirt, produced in an even more limited run, will be available only to the holders of the D&D X Octopus card - a small group of hardcore Octopus fans who will receive the card before the April 25 release.
