    Capsule collection

    Rick and Morty is an American adult cartoon, created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for the Adult Swim network.

     

    The characters have different adventures ranging from the typical mishaps expected from a family in crisis to the intergalactic horrors that grandfather Rick and his grandson Morty get involved in. As a result, Morty grows up to be increasingly awkward and aware of the world.

     

    Three seasons were released between 2016 and 2017 (only available on Netflix in Italy), and Justin Roiland recently announced that the 70 new episodes (split into seasons) will soon be released.

     

    Octopus Brand collaborates with Rick and Morty to create a super limited-edition capsule collection of just 400 pieces. The claim printed on every piece from the capsule collection is a famous quote by Morty’s clone, who is exasperated after burying the corpse of his true self and says to his sister Summer: “Nobody exists on purpose, nobody belongs anywhere, everybody is gonna die. Come watch TV.” This quotation perfectly represents the show’s sacrilegious spirit.

     

    The capsule collection includes the classic tentacle design in two colourways (on black and white), and also depicts Rick’s hypertechnological portal which allows the two to go on intergalactic journeys. This is available on both Hoodies and T-shirts. In addition, the drop includes a T-shirt with a psychedelic illustration of the two main characters and a Long Sleeve Tee printed with the collaboration logo and Rick’s portal on the sleeves.

    Every piece was made in Italy and is 100% cotton with special reflective prints and numbered labels from 1 to 400.

     

    The Octopus Brand x Rick and Morty capsule collection will be exclusively available on 2-3 June at the Ginnika Expo event at the Ex-Dogana in Rome and from the IUTER Store Milano (limited quantities). Octopus Brand is an official partner of fifth edition of Ginnika Expo, which is a point of reference for fans of sneakers, style and urban culture in Rome.

     

     

    The capsule collection will be available online at Octupusbrand.com from 5 June at 4 pm.
